rock climbing is fab el, I used to do it many years ago.
theres no better feeling than climbing up a sharp fae ( i used ot do it in the peak district) and then abseiling down after:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Good news! I have always wanted to have a go at the climbing wall but never got round to it (like so much other stuff!), and I am sure you will enjoy it.
Excellent news about the weight/jeans too. I did the same last year, bought a pair of jeans to slim into and managed to feel very comfortable in them - but am sitting here this morning thinking that they are now at that stage where one extra lb on will mean that I cannot sit down/do them up/get them over my fat backside at all
Off to smear vanilla essence on my wrists.......:D Have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
thanks lynz we have a climbing wall at work which i get a shot at and i have to admit it's the coming down bit i just cant get to grips with at all ...when we went ice climbing years ago i could do it no probs but now i fall so not daintily into a heap at the bottom of the wall laughing my head off the kids all laugh at me and shout oh el's fallen but i tell them i did it on purpose lol...
at lease you can still get those jeans on hypno i'm sure the vanilla aroma will help get them a wee bit more comfortable too in a few weeks ...how did it go last night? did you manage not to bit your arm off?0 -
well i did my first lesson on the climbing wall i loved every minute of it although i will say i am knackered ...i didnt manage to do as good or as much as the other people i was there with but then i am carrying atleast 6 stone in weight more than them so i cant exactly expect miracles can i ...next week is my part two and i am so excited i cant wait ....sons shoes fit perfect but the girl said my harness was a bit tight ...so the question is do i buy a new harness or do i hire one out it's £2.50 a time to hire and the week after we get our second lesson we can go as often as we want to every day for free (just need to hire the harness etc) so we plan on going every day 7x £2.50 is £17.50 that i would need just for the first week then every time i go after that i will need another £2.50 so i think i will have to give this some thought0

How much would a new harness be?
If it was only a wee bit tight, our diet challenge might help it fit in a week or 2Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

well today hubby discovered the outside freezer broken all the food has went off (alot of food) and hubby and i are arguing about how it will get replaced (he wants to go for a loan) so it's one step forward and two steps back again for us0
-
Awww noooooooo!!
Have you checked your house insurance to see if you can claim - you quite often can, although you might have to pay an excess, so it may not be worth it.
Does the freezer need replacing immediately? If you can wait a while, what about asking on Freecycle and waiting until something comes up?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
