  • I wish I could get rid of one attitude trait - my hoarding attitude!

I have a few pounds spare in the bank that are earmarked for my debt - I keep thinking "So you do not spend it, pop it in straight away!" but then the other shoulder goes "what if something terrible happens and you suddenly need access to that cash??" and as such its going to linger there reminding me its perfectly spendable.

    Sigh.

I bought an album on napster but can't get it to download. They're laughing at me for not knowing whether or not it actually downloaded because it's impossible not to know apparantly. I've been trying to sort it for a couple of weeks, which has taken me out of the free trial period so I've had to pay £15 for another month.

  • Hrm... can you try a few things for me and tell me the results? Or are you at work?

I need to rid myself of a problem: Buying stuff I don't actually need (or won't need for long) I've bought a netbook whilst waiting for my Mac to turn up (took 2 months) and now I'm selling the netbook as I don't need it. I keep getting stuff I don't need and I hate doing it, as I can't stick to a budget which is annoying to say the least. Help!

  • SRM - it's sods law. Fingers crossed it turns up sooner rather than later.

Elfen - I was the same. I managed to curb this by opening an account with out a chip and pin facility - yes it was annoying to start with but it does make me think twice about buying something.

More snow is predicted for Wednesday - hurrah - not!! I'm bored of it now!

lilmiss - I'm so used to having a non chip and pin card that I take money out - then use the chip and pin on top of it. Right now there's £100 in the drawer I'm not touching - I took the change out of my purse and put it, my bank card, ID and my boots card (have a £5 no7 voucher to use) in my little purse. I'll probably end up doing this and see what happens.

ETA: Am going into town to sell my netbook and take back the stop smoking stuff I didn't use. I'm going to plan to do it again when I've not got so much stress in my life. Then I think I'll have lunch before going ot the dreaded GP for the coil fitting

Im home and I thought in my sadness today that I would count how many steps it is...you're supposed to do 10,000 a day aren't you? Well the 25 min walk to work and then back is approx 7,000 steps :)

Come home and OH is in a foul mood, not sure why considering he was chirpy as anything yesterday. Oh well Im not going to stay in the house, going to pick DD up from school and then walk straight into town to get her glasses sorted
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
