It may be the case that the seller is one of potentially thousands of people like myself who often check these forums to keep up to date with housing rights etc but do not post very often....
If this is the case he may be sat at home reading this thread now knowing your postion exactly.
This is a public forum belonging to one of the most popular websites in the UK.... this game of poker that's being talked about is currently about as private as Big Brother eviction nominations! It's literally open to the world to see.
I could suggest now removing the above posts where you quote e-mails, remove any names and other bits that may relate to the sale. If he hasn't already seen this.... you might remove it in case he does?
On a more related note: best of luck with it, I was in your position 6 months ago, it worked out in the end and I got an offer accepted, but I now know that both the EA and the vendor were reading these forums.
Doubt 99% of the population are as sad and nerdy as we are. There will be an absolute minimal amount of house sellers countrywide reading this forum.
