My HHC became one and a half hours, embb. The puppy walked in some oil which has puddled in the road, where the snow is pushed to one side, and it is now all over my lounge carpets. I sat on the floor and spot cleaned but have had to give up as my body and hands are complaining.

It is probably time to get out the VAX but I was trying to avoid the carpet getting so wet as it is difficult to dry at this time of year.

The footprints are everywhere, behind the sofas under the dining table etc.

DH has been out and bought carpet shampoo and also put sand over the oil patches that he can see in the dusk light.

:eek: I'd be spitting chips :D hope it comes out ok.

Well, I'm up to date with my accounts! :j:j this years anyway, tbh before I took over the customers myself it was a rigid 16 hrs and my diary is testament to that, no claims for petrol etc either so as straightforward as they were last year, need to get figures though then OH can help me put them in online. So, loads of old stuff decluttered out my car and organised paperwork, I gave the 'important papers' a new home yesterday too, so just need a shredder now for the pile I can bin :j

Off to maketh the tea and do stuff.

ETA: It is 2008/09 we're filing for isn't it? proper accounts with petrol receipts and other stuff I can claim for doesn't start till August 09, i only have to do till April 09 yeah?! thought I'd better check.

Lounge half way through. Had to go out for material for DD2. Went to Trago and it was sale day (15% off) so ended up spending £36 - that was for enough material for a leisure suit, fleece, pair of trainers, wash ball, recorder and music book. Not to bad really. (I did forget the ear plugs though;))

Rosepink - PTLLS is preparing to teach in the life long learning sector. I've posponed this until April as I know how much I've had to do in the past to get her back on the right track (DD2 that is). Its more about the emotional energy. Me keeping calm when she's upset when all I really want to do is scream and shout at those responsible, plus introducing all of these distraction techniques which help her to heal. (When I was going through my Psychiatric training which was extremely challenging I used to wonder why I was doing it. Now I thank God that I did it as it gave me the skills, knowledge and strength to stand up for what my children need to be all that they can be). Still, we really should'nt have to do this to get what they need.

Right, going to try and continue to declutter LR so that we can get on with dressmaking.
The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:
