    Hi all

Had a very good walk today, 7 miles and felt better for it. Went with one dog (she needed 1 to 1 work) and 2 friends. Ache like mad now though!
Did last coat of paint on the back door and it looks fab...........oldest dog also managed to get gloss on her ear. sigh! Decluttered bacon butties for lunch.

I am really NOT looking forward to tomorrow, as the person who let me down I also work with and have a feeling someone else has been s.... stirring. However I shall go in all cheerful and pretend that I've had the best weekend ever (not spent most of it in tears) but would appreciate some moral support from you all! Like I said my problem is so low key compared to what some of you are going through I feel guilty asking for moral support :(

Anyway the ironing is calling (trying to ignore it) so had better go and do it......chat later

    1 step

Lots and lots of hope you get it sorted nicely vibes for tomorrow

Of course you've got our support - it doesn't matter what your problems are, they're your problems and you need to get through them. Sometimes the smallest ones can be the toughest as you feel you should be able to cope easily. Hopefully all the fresh air and being outside has made you feel better. Enjoy the ironing :p

Walked to the shop (long way round :D although I still won't make my 10,000 steps today unless I go out again!), and got veggies, milk, bread, bananas. So I can put off going anywhere else while. I could do with some smoked mackeral, but there are smoked salmon bits in the fridge, so they'll do for fish for this week.

I need to plan food for Friday night/Saturday morning/saturday lunch, as I have a friend staying who has a wheat allergy (not an intolerance, a brings-her-out-in-a-rash proper allergy). I don't eat much of the stuff myself, so how come I keep thinking 'chicken & leek pie' or 'cheesecake'? :rotfl:

I might go and listen to the radio while looking through cookbooks for nice new exciting things to try!

  • Ok, that was a good half hour..

I sat in the bathroom and sprayed bleach on all the mould I could reach and my OH did the bits I couldn't!! No idea what to do about the polystyrene tiles on the ceiling however.. the corners of the room have mould but I didn't risk spraying them with bleach, thought I might poison us both.. any ideas anyone?

Now I will sit and relax for a bit before going back and brushing the bleach off.

How did you get on Guns hon?

    Diva.x

p.s. 1 step - BIG hugs hon and lots of supportive vibes.

    HI Helen Jelly,

Just to say ds1 had great difficulty with letter formation.
Long story short (after alot of banging my head against a brick wall), found he was mega intelligent but dyslexic as hell. :o.

    Just a thought,

    regards,

Got the dried washing folded and put away, put another wash on. Tidied and S&S'd the kitchen and got sidetracked playing with LO!

Hugs for 1 step closer, good luck at work. Big hugs also for Lady L, you are an amazing lady.

You cry away and don't you dare appologise for it! That is what friends are for - I just wish there were more I could do. Hope the arguments lessen soon. If you need me, you know where I am - I'm actually at my Mum & Dad's now (hence being able to email) and will be doing some school work - we went for lunch at the Bosham Inn in the end too, which was yummy, but how I'm going to manage not to fall asleep after a roast meal (goats cheese and nut wellington for me), I don't know. Moon is shooting tonight, so if you want to call tonight, there will be no interruptions and I'll be able to give you my undivided attention as I intend to have done all my school stuff.

    More hugs coming your way,

    sexymouse xx :kisses3:

Hi thanks for that - I know nothing about dyslexia, would that show up in reading - his reading is very good and so is his mental maths - again finds it hard to shape the numbers properly.

ETA - I've just looked up about Dyslexia and I'm fairly certain thats not the cause, its his writing thats the problem, and I'm almosr certain that its down to how he's being taught [I'm not knocking teachers or any school staff] I think his teacher could be a bit overwhelmed by the amount of work she has to do with the class and writing may be suffering which is why I really need to know how they teach them nowadays cos next year I know he has to practise joined up writing and thats not going yo be easy.
