Wilkinson's Collect in Store - Theft??

Last time I ordered something online from Wilkinsons I ddin't print off my receipt because my printer was out of ink. I just told them the item and my name and it was handed over with no problem. So, in addition to the above entirely feasible scenario, is the one where you told someone about your bargain and they went in and claimed it.
I didn't tell anyone about my "bargain". Probably alerted them to it when i range instore to ask if it had been delivered.
Absolutely pathetic instore customer service. they told me they'd tried to ring Head Office yesterday afternoon but it was closed on a Sunday.
I rang Head Office customer service today and a very helpful CS informed me that they are open between 10 and 5 pm and the store should have phoned them. Now you can understand why i'm very suspicious of what happened to my item.
The CS was going to contact the store and get back to me which she did within 10 minutes. Obviously as it was a seasonal item they had no more stock, but she was arranging a refund and sending me vouchers to make up for the inconvenience.
No point in getting stressed about it, i'll just learn not to order anything from Wilkinsons again.0
