  • You could take a couple of different tops so you have the option to change, if you feel that what you've selected isn't right after all.

Thats what I would suggest, or give the photographer a quick call and ask if he would recommend any particular colours or outfits.

I would agree with jeans- when i went with my mum, bro, step dad and his kids we all wore jeans and then a different primary colour top

When I went with my partner and step kids we just picked something bright with jeans. My littleset step daughter has ginger hair which looks amazing on the pics

I agree venture is very expensive but we have taken our free out, scanned it and printed it bigger. Also have ordered print outs online (no questions asked)- Ok it is naughty but we cant afford 100 quid let alone 1000!

I agree with the bright colours - choose similar styles eg jeans and T-shirts, but each shirt could be a different bright colour such as green, red, blue, purple, bright yellow, bright pink etc. I also agree with people who suggest taking along a change of clothing, so you can have some done in matching tops (turquoise or black perhaps) and some in bright colours, then see what looks best afterwards.
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!

I agree too, sometimes things that you think look great dont always work. Also, the baby may dribble/be sick so be prepared.
Just thinking of colours to go with your mums room. What about 2 older ones in chocolate coloured tops with some turquoise (earrings/scarf/scrunchie) & baby in turquoise top holding a chocolate coloured bear or something? Whoever said dark denim is right too.

Well we went with a deep purple in the end and I love the results:
