i have witnessed our local shop sell booze to underage kids a few times in the last few months, how can i report them without giving my name, and who do i report them to?
the shop is also a post office and the staff drink whisky while serving customers regulaly, would the post office be interested in this? who would i report this to?

There you go! Definitely not the police - they're the people to report drunk kids to. Trading standards will observe and charge them. I would also contact the post office re the staff drinking on duty. Post office counters
They just proscecuted round here and Mr S paid a 5 figure fine!

Report to trading standards. They will investigate and involve the Police if required.
I recently reported my local shop to them for selling single cigarettes to schoolchildren (and displaying a notice on the door stating that they did lol)Dogs have owners...my cat has slaves...0 -
I concur.....report it to trading standards...
Depending on where you live, each authority has a different way of dealing with it.
You can report it anonymously - your local TS should have a website where you can report things without giving your details, or you can phone consumer direct and remain anonymous - BUT......if you give your details, it gives more weight to your information.
Anonymous information is still useful, but it adds weight to it if you can give your details. You can tell TS that you want to remain anon if you want - it is unlikely that they would tell the shop who you are anyway...!!
You're not in Gloucestershire are you???Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0
