it is repo, and it has been on the market for just under a year...
there has been a cash offer put on the property, just before christmas alledgedly sp? but they havent shown proof of money...it was just under the asking price..
plasterer where about in the country do you live?
the place where this house is, is a very tight local community in a rural area.... so no one really goes to live there, unless they are from there.. iyswim... so who ever rents this property will be from the area...
will sleep on it tonight, and see waht happens in the morning... i can hear the laughter on the other end of hte phone, if i phone the estate agents with my cash offer....:rotfl:0 -
Hey, Triker, just done some maths and If you could get the house fior £34 all in with works sorted satisfactory for rental youd be laughing as the mortgage would only be roughly £200/month. Surely you could rent it for twice this???? Maybe not?????
:rotfl: up there for thinking, down there for dancing as they say:rotfl:
this is what i was thinking.. the rent to be honest would be around the £300- £325 per month.
I verbally got approved for a mortgage... but i honestly think this property is a cash one tbh
I calculated x amount for small repairs and tarting it up so to speak, but when we went to see it, unless i could get it for a lot lower price then i wouldnt intitally have enough money.. so it would have to do work when i had money.... ( i am self employed and own my own business)
even hubby have just said take the gamble and put an offer in of 16k:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -
Hold up - it's a repo and any offer will be accepted until another one tops it. Offer 'em £10k.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

thats what the estate agents told me, if i put an offer in and its accepted, then they have to put a notice in the paper, giving 7 days notice or something..
the lady said they wernt allowed to call them repos anymore, but company owned, as when they called them repos people were putting in silly low offers:rotfl:
if the offer is accepted, its got to be all done and dusted within 14 days, and 7 days of this is allowing people to make future offers or something ( because of the ad in paper)Work to live= not live to work0 -

If they ask is that your final offer just say ITS AN OFFER. They have a legal right to put it to the vendor!!!!!!
Sorry, not too keen on estate agents!!!!! They are "prety people that tell you what you want to hear and not much between the ears." Play them at their own game..... I havn't seen this house fly off the market...!?!?!!?! Also, its the etsate agent that has valued this house, Tell them they can't be serious about the price its on at (Then laugh at them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) If you think this might upset them and they won't give the vendor your offer, tell them that you want all offers to the vendor in writing to yourself. That'll take the smile of there face.:D
