Well the main reason for doing these runs for me is for my Dad, I have done 1 5km and 1 10km. THis year I'd like to up the challenge and do both. do you think we would do Leeds again?? as in a group like last time? There isn't anyone to run with here, so if I miss you all signing up I put you in charge of letting me know! xxxxx

I'd like to do one to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of my mum and dad, and DD is DESPERATE to do another, all of us like last time. It was fab wasnt it. Maybe we should ask tomorrow when some of the others are here ;)

Dont worry, I wont let you miss signing up :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I'm pretty sure I will be doing the Leeds 10k again, the timing is good for my half marathon preparations. Could probably accomodate a few people here if it's just going to be a mini meet and people don't mind sleeping in the camper!

Probably going to do Skipton and Temple Newsam RFLs too. In fact, I could do the 10k at 10am and the 5k at 2.30pm. :rotfl:

  • ok.........using map my run, I'm re-doing our holiday 'hike'. From the apartment to the first place we stopped when we got to Vilamoura was 4.7k and it was high 20s so I guess I can do it  We then walked to the beach which was another 1.1 km (another drink stop needed at the beach!!) and then the walk back (the way we should have gone inthe first place  ) along the beach, a total of 10.22km :eek::eek:

I was nearly on my knees the last part of the walk - it was so hot :o I kept saying to OH how my thighs were really stiffening up :o
