Pap, I don't know much about running but that sounds an amazing time, especially for a new runner. I really admire you so much! If you can turn things around and change so much in such a short space of time then maybe I can achieve my goals too. You're so inspirational.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • BB, It was truely amazing, I am just a bit gutted I wasnt up there for sun-rise. However considering I have to go through the woods/fields in the dark I dont think thet would be very safe :o

Ames, Thanks I am not relaly, well at least I don't feel I am. I just want to do this race because when I was younger I couldn't run and my teachers hated me because of it. Its a kind of prove it wrong thing :rotfl: As for time, Becky can do 6miles in the time I did my 1, so I have a long way to go  I just want to do the RFL in under 1 hour running/jogging all the way, thats my aim :D

There is no maybe about it you will reach your goals! It may take you 2 years it may take you 5 but you will get there. You just need to believe in yourself, believe in your life and make the small changes. No one can change their life overnight it takes small steps. Keep on going, you will look back one day ans see how far you really have come :T

  • Afternoon all,

Hope we're all well? It's dark, dank and cold here but it didn't stop me from going for a long walk this morning and my thighs are aching.

Ames, it doesn't much help. Nothing really seems to, then I end up getting emotional and can't stop myself blowing my stack

Could you not practise your oompah band outside his door when he's trying to watch TV..? ;)
