This is a great little programme for saving pm's posted by sra.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=15692935&postcount=6
I've lost all of my pm's before now when there have been glitches with the forum so might be advisable to save any you want to now, and yes I did reply redux and got two versions of your pm.
ETA both your pm's have now disappeared but that is the only problem I've experienced.0 -

Just now, at 15:25, I was looking for who's online and found the following, which is impossible to believe (that I'm the only person, including guests, online on this forum at present). Copied and pasted below:
Currently Active Users: 1 (1 members and 0 guests)Most users ever online was 21,118, Today at 12:02 PM.

I know that this doesn't relate to what has happened today, but seems the best place to put it, as I can't seem to get the answer anywhere else, but when I used to read a thread I knew exactly where I had got to as it used to show me where I last was when previously on MSE but now it doesn't show this - so is there a way on how I know where I was previously when reading a thread?
Thanks for any help you can give as not knowing where I am now puts me off coming on here as often as I used to and I do miss MSE :sad:When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
The forum went down for me tonight at 8:13pm... Anyone else?
I got the usual message 'Forum down for planned forum maintenance' etc (it won't paste onto the board)
I didn't see any message on the board that it was going down tonight for maintenance.
Anyone else...
Also, the search faciliy is still not working very well on the comps board...
Can this please be rectified as I do not wish to post a comp that is already on the board?
Thank you.................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -

Hi folks,
Apologies but we did indeed go down for a while tonight. This was due to a server being overloaded, which in turn piled up requests until the whole system was locked up.
We're aware of the problem and we have planned upgrades in the next couple of weeks to take care of this problem.
Sorry again for the inconvenience and thank you for bearing with us while we go through the process of upgrading the Forum.
