Hi Folks
Earlier this morning we had a fairly robust power failure from our server hosts which, as I'm sure you all noticed, took everything offline for a period.
We've worked hard to bring everything back up to speed asap and we believe that the main site, forum and most of the tools should now be back up and fully functional. We are aware of several tools which are still down, but the team looking to rectify the problem as we speak.
Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience and accept a virtual lunchtime snack, on us, for the disruption. Martin has agreed to foot the bill as long as there is no virtual caviar.
If people notice any glitches or unusual behaviour please let us know on this thread to assist the team. Thanks.

Just to add to this, we're stil working on one of our Forum database boxes so we'll be experiencing some slowness on the Forum this afternoon until it is brought back online.
Once again we apologise for the disruption and thank you for bearing with us.

pages keep jumping back to old pages then back again to first pages, if that makes senseplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0

thanks it's fairly fine, just that the page reverts to an older page now and then on DT like this showing no updates at all, refreshing it helps but then again when you wander back only to find the page has reverted to the time when the site was downkorkythekat wrote: »pages keep jumping back to old pages then back again to first pages, if that makes sense

Plus when it does that it logs me out and won't let me log in again for a while. Try to log in and after the "thanks for logging in" message I get booted back to the login page.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I just refreshed the main forums page and it reverted back to 10:45am with myself as the only member logged in.
I am starting to have doubts about todays claim of a new record number of visitors to the site.0 -
