That's the scheme that got that postie in Wales in some bother a couple of weeks ago isn't it?
As far as I know that still only covers "The Occupier" junk mail - there's naff all you can do about mail with your name on it delivered from outside the UK
The major problem with removing yourself from that Royal Mail list is that currently they say they cannot distinguish between junk mail and non-name specific letters that are of at least some importance (e.g. council tax updates) and so you could miss out on notifications. They've been accused of blackmail of sorts in the papers I notice - keep junk mail or lose important notices :mad:I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.
