We have 2 options for our wedding favours.
    1) we are having sky lanterns at the night, i think they look amazing, so for the favours we were thinking of putting 1 lighter and 1 marker pen in an organza bag, so that everyone can write a message on the lantern and light it, therefore no one will struggle to find a light.

    Or
    2) As we cant decide what drinks package we are having as we cant choose for everyone as we have different types of drinkers and 50% wont drink whatever we choose and we dont want to waste it, we are having drinks vouchers, so guests can select their own drinks from the waiters to have with their meal and toast. This idea kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

I have been to so many wedding where you can see the bride has spend a small fortune or put a lot of effort into making favours and most of them get left on the table, so i consider this to be an area to cut a few costs.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

I'm doing CD's of our wedding/reception music and printing the case inserts off the computer myself. We are having a bit of a music theme going on!

  • We are having wine glass charms, which I made myself. I used snowflake charms (we're having a snowflake/ice theme) then threaded beads and sequins either side.
Wire rings and charms were from eBay, beads were from my local rag Market. All in all made 100 for about 17p each.
I'm really impressed with how they turned out. They will be used to decortate the tables and will double as favours.

  • I am getting married 13th Feb (4 weeks to go aagh!) and got some lovely heart shaped marshmallows, jelly beans and foil covered chocs in m & s today - cost me about £14 to fill 70 organza bags and the bags were about £5 off ebay. Mine have a date of May, suggestions I would make for June is wait til they are selling off all the chocs from easter (mini eggs etc) and those lovely wrapped lindt eggs, as you usually get about 3 months date on chocs.
