okay...erm...do you have a "theme"? (tho i reckon September wedding is a Summer wedding and there are flowers in the summer!!!)Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0

Then type in 'how to make ______ cookies on sticks' on something similar, there is a website called ehow which gives you step by step guides to all sorts of things to make and do.
I wonder if you could put a bit of wire or something in the dough when they come out of the oven, cookie dough is usually fairly soft until it cools? Then the face down would be the bit you ice0 -
my theme is black and white, i got 100 black and white favour boxes and black and white heart shaped chocolate dragees to fill them.
i spent £40.
they look so pretty.
im sure you can get boxes/dragees to fit with your colour scheme0 -

We had silver organza bags filled with white and pink small heart shaped chocolate dragees. Cost around £30 and we had loads of spare dragees!! I got the dragees from the Hitched site and the bags from ebay.

We had a bit of a Love Hearts 'theme' (the love heart sweets I mean) so my mum made the cake (3 layers, one choc, one sponge, one fruit) plain white iced and decorated with love hearts. Bit like this one http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://sarah-cakes.com/image/lovehearts2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://sarah-cakes.com/&usg=__q6qo-VRepzoQJsbRlSBv_8GZdFU=&h=369&w=300&sz=45&hl=en&start=1&um=1&tbnid=60BDDYMnuvuQkM:&tbnh=122&tbnw=99&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dlove%2Bhearts%2Bwedding%2Bcake%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4ADBF_en-GBGB255GB256%26sa%3DX%26um%3D1
So then our favours were mini packets of love hearts which also doubled as the place cards as the name tags were attached.
Big bag of sweets worked out at only a few pence per 'roll' of sweets.0 -
We got married on 5 November so we had bonfire toffees (Asda 3 bags for a £1)and wrapped them in gold organza bags with gold hearts on tied with gold ribbon which I got from Hobbycraft. Very simple and effective. Didn't cost much at all and I had lots left over to eat mmm0
