I can only echo what everyone else here has been saying. Never heard of them before, went on Saturday to look at a couple of cars and was genuinely shocked that a firm like this can still be trading.

Their attitude and treatment of customers is beyond parody. Without going into all the details, suffice it to say I protested (mildly) at their behaviour and was threatened with violence by a really aggressive thug. I honestly thought I was going to be attacked.

Steer well clear of this place.

I would like to share my views on motorhub although it seems are somewhat different to all of the above^^
Recently bought another vehicle from them, was VERY pleased with the price and quality of the vehicle. Nice friendly staff, the car was very clean and well presented, and i honestly can not say a bad word about the experience, i understand some people have had bad experiences but this is the 3rd car me and my wife have had from them an its always been a hasle free experience. although i cant speak for other people i just wanted to get my opinion across because i dont think all these negative views are fair, not enough people who have good experiences write reviews, and it jut feels right letting people know that iv been to motorhub and will continue to go to motorhub and as the prices are fair and the cars i have purchased have been 10/10
Says the newbie. We weren't born yesterday mate.
  • I used to work in Keighley, and IIRC someone I worked with had a very exotic car with a cracked transfer box, which he (a chartered mechanical engineer) fixed with 'chemical metal' and somehow he sold it to KTC. He got a cheque made out to cash, and went to one of those cash your cheque places to turn it into real cash as quick as he could.
They rang him up a week later demanding the money back to which he responded "No warranty implied or given"......

Glad I saw this, I was booking a flight to go see a car tomorrow at this place!

Seemed like a great price, tried calling and when hitting the sales option the line goes dead, that stalled me booking it and let me find this thread.

Your not the first to undertake that very long journey to look their range of bad & ugly vehicles. We are a long established used car sales business selling some similarly priced range stock (low overheads & small margins to keep rices competitive) and we've had numerous customers call whilst standing at the KTC premises, rather downhearted to say the least.

I'm getting good at routing them to the train station, pointing them to the North East where 3 out of 3 of those stranded customers have been picked up & happily bought their car from us.

I scan Autotrader often to keep a check on prices & stock availability and came across this similar looking business to KTC (low prices & mileages hidden) which has ultimately led me here.

Beware of Motor-Hub - Never pay a deposit - Check & Double check the car before your even thinking of buying.

You don't get something for nothing in the motor trade unless there's a 'story' behind it!

I wonder how they are still trading, a quick google search shows the first page results, with dire warnings on subaru/saxo/seat forums, plus piston heads and MSE all warning of this bunch.
  • Just an update for 2015.. I bought a car from Motorhub - after being pressured into paying a deposit over the phone. My car is now faulty and will not run. I have notified Motorhub but they are not interested in repairs and have told me that their cars are trade, and therefore void of warranty. Been to my garage and seems I am now about £2,000 of pocket. I am currently considering taking legal action.
  • Gutted I've just found this lot after buying a car on Sunday from these "people". Car needed a service which is why I thought the price was so low.
Wouldn't start Monday morning, turned out the crank sensor had gone and the battery was past it's best these were issues that I thought hay ho bit more than a service required but on a 53 plate not surprised. Call from garage, broken suspension coil, 2 x exhaust brackets broken, heater resistor burnt out and wiring melted, tracking rob end broken and a knackered break pipe. All in all over £1220.00 to sort. Could have bought another car for what this is costing.
Have looked at legals and under sales of goods act they are so so wrong just hope that I can recoup some of my loss although going on the comments on here I might have more joy plating fog

Was thinking of buying a car from this place a while ago, checked with the company I was going to get finance from, and even they told me not to touch them, as they would not give me finance if I did.
