Haven breaks, £15 per person, Easter hols!

Thankyou, found a good deal for us but Breakfree t&c's say £25 deposit :rolleyes: Can't afford the total amount for them at the mo which is a shame.

Ok - booking details says 'Caravan Luxury - sleeps 8', yet on Haven website the categories of caravan are "exclusive, platinum, prestige, deluxe, superior, standard plus and standard". So which type do you get ? I suspect the 'standard' ?
Also, is there a way to upgrade, or not ? Cheers

I've just booked a long weekend with a Park resort. I didn't put the baby on the booking form as thought I didn't need to. Had the confirmation and it says infants 0, along with the number of adults and children. Will I get away with this? Do they come and count how many children in the car? He will be 11 months by the time we go away so won't really be using many of the facilities...

Or should I phone up and add him on? Will I thne be charged an extra £15 for him, plus passes????

Check carefully that this is a better deal for you than going direct to the site, remember the passes and the sevice charges

'You will be charged £15pp (minimum £60) if selecting a Luxury Holiday Home or £17.50pp (minimum £70) if selecting Luxury Plus Holiday Home. You will receive your holiday confirmation through the post'

I wondered this as well.
When I spoke to Haven they said with newspaper deals you get the basic caravan.

The site says there are 3 types of caravan - luxury, luxury+ & premier+.
When I booked I didnt have a choice - it gave me luxury plus & charged 17.50 pp for 4 days - I can see a premier+ at 39.50 pp.
You could always phone if you want to upgrade.

I only had the option of luxury, but for 5 of us to go for 4 nights/5 days during the Easter Hols to Dorset £77 all in, is really good value. Nice surprise for the youngest - he loves Haven!! To go via their website £357.72

just a word of warning about breakfree holidays

i booked up with them last year when a paper did a deal,

we booked up a 3 bedroom caravan , when haven sent us the details it was for a 2 bedroom, we phone haven who said that we would have to phone breefree, we phoned breakfree and the guy told us they had sold too many holidays and we would have to accept the 2 bed unit OR have out money back

the money never arrived, haven contacted us and asked us to pay the other fee's, we explained what was happening, the date passed for us to pay haven

after 7 phone calls and being promised to have the money refunded, AND contacting our credit card ( who wouldnt help ) , still nothing

a truely woefull company, i wouldnt trust them with a holiday booking for my worse enemy
