Tell him you'll keep your car until 1 Feb to get an extra month VED....;)

(And stops you crashing it in the snow)

The extra month road tax would have saved me a 'massive £3' so it was more cost effective to get a refund of 7mths (approx£65) on my scrappage car.
  • Well! This morning I got £50 M&S vouchers from Hyundai, for the delays delivering my car. (Ordered 4th Oct) picked up yesterday.
    Can't grumble with that!

For the poster with the new car that got reversed into.

A few years back a former neighbor of ours bought a brand new escort (was one of the very last ones they built) and had it for about a week. When they woke up in the morning it was on the pavement with the whole side stoved in.

Turns out that someone had been driving down the road (which slopes down to a crossroad) and her husband decided that she was going too fast so he yanked the handbrake on  the car spun into my neighbors car, bounced off andm, to top it all off, demolished their front wall!

The Escort was within a hairs breadth of being written off but was rebuilt and apparently never felt the same again - it was promptly traded in and replaced with something older.

From what I heard the wife lost her NCB and the husband was prosecuted for something (I have a feeling it might be dangerous driving but could well be wrong)
Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male:

2010 car? Will that still be a 59 reg though until 1 March? I wonder how the 10 is going to be added on the reg plate then.

    Yes, 59 until 1st March, then it's 10 e.g. NA10 ABC :)
