I saw Martin on Ready Steady Cook, since then I think he has saved me a fortune.

Good old Jeremy Vine again. Was nearly at the end of debt free journey but the site has made such a difference to the way I live my life - from pigsback vouchers to flylady cleaning (Old style boarders will know what I mean).
The only downside is the amount of time I now spend on here, it can't be healthy.0 -
My Mum! I was on the phone to her moaning about having no money to get a haircut and there happened to be the Prima "free haircut" offer on the money tips mail that week. She forwarded it to me and I came to look at the site. Stumbled across the snowball calculator and used it just out of curiosity- I was amazed how quickly I could actually get out of debt if I really tried. I'd always assumed it was going to take forever so had pretty much given up on the idea of ever being debt free. Read through some stories on this forum and became determined to do it in two years."People who "do things" exceed my endurance,

I can't remember how I stumbled across it. Looking up something no doubt. I never heard of Martin Lewis before. :money:Still never heard any of his shows or read his books. I just thought the forum & the peeps were great. Wish we had something similiar over here with the information side as it must save you all heaps.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0
