How Did You Find This Site?

I'm gutted because I can't remember how I found this sanctuary! :(

I've got the feeling I typed "dealing with debt" or something into google but can't for the life of me remember!

All I know that is I'd probably be £40,000 in debt if I hadn't found it! :o

    Funny, I can't remember either!

Well, I think I might have heard Martin on the radio, maybe.

I found the site, got the email etc, for quite a while before I joined the forum bit (through a link in the email).

And the rest, as they say, is history...... :rotfl:

Well, it was two years ago and I'd bought the MSE book because it was on 'special offer' on a book site (oh, how MSE!). I'd previously seen Martin on a TV programme and found him really inspiring.

When I first joined my reasons were so that I could learn to be a 'rate tart' and 'get more for my money', rather than aiming to be debt-free as such. I then had a mini addiction to ebay (buying and not selling ) so spent a lot of time on the ebay board.

I only became an avid reader of DFW board this year! And I love it! In fact, I popped over to 'Credit Cards' the other day and noticed that quite a few people are against claiming back unfair bank charges! That frame of mind is just alien to me now!

There's nothing wrong with Radio 2 when you hit mid 40's. I can listen to my kind of music played by DJ's who were on Radio 1 when I was young...;)

I can't do with all the base on Radio 1 these days LOL:eek:

Been using the site just over a year (I think, but signed up properly in Dec. '05) It is without a shadow of a doubt the most useful website I have ever used ever ever ever. It was recommended by a friend of a friend. I reckon that since I began using MSE I saved/gained around £1000 in total and I have to say that the hints, tips and discussions are priceless, long may it remain.
