Tesco St Helens disgraceful customer attitude

We had 3 digger tractors going round our Tesco car park at once! The were going everywhere. They looked like they were dancing. Didn't fancy parking anywhere because they were going in and out between the cars.
I know they were doing their job but it looked frightening. I wouldn't even have fancied walking across the car park with 3 of them there, and the car park was quite busy too.

Our Tesco car park last week looked like a normal day - but with huge snow mountains at the extreme edges. You could see the spaces which had had cars parked on them when they were clearing, as they still had snow/ice on them. I was very impressed.0 -
I followed doting Doris on her way to Tesco on Saturday, gently doing 15 mph, braking on every corner as she slid her way down the road. Come big roundabout near the entrance and whooosh, she was 180'd and around she slid.
Didi not see her in store though.
(Message to Freda, Should you see Freddie slip on the ice, you're to fetch for the Vet and be done with it)0 -

I have just discovered the delights of shopping at Asda St Helens and will now be doing so from now on.
The recent weather was unprecedented I know, but the lack of help and thought and care shown by the staff and management to people struggling with shopping trolleys at Tesco St Helens in Merseyside is an absolute disgrace.
How can a huge corporation like Tesco not be able to afford to at least hire a JCB to attempt to clear the car park of the compacted snow and ice to help customers shop there? Are they so arrogant and big headed that they think people will just keep going there? Not even any salt or grit is visible.
The car park is full of bumps and dips where snow has compacted into treacherous ice, cars are slipping and sliding everywhere, it is impossible to push a trolley of shopping across the car park, that is if you are lucky enugh to make it to the store entrance without falling or being run over by out of control vehicles.
There are no staff around to be seen when you need help dragging the trolley to the car, no one at the entrance or on the car park. Mind you they can't even be bothered to clear up the trolleys that are left hanging out of the trolley stations all over the car park, so bad, that if you park near one, there's a good chance you can't even get your car out when you come back to it.
Compare all this to Asda St Helens :T , the whole car park has been cleared completely, easy to drive in, park and walk to the store entrance, all the solidified snow and ice has been gathered into huge mountains and left to melt around the carpark where it can cause no danger. Plenty of staff in the car park and at the entrance to give you a hand if you need it, nothing is too much trouble.
Gold Star to you Asda St Helens :A , excellent customer service, friendly staff, and absolute pleasure... you've just won yourself another regular customer !!
End of rant !!
If I were you I would send an e-mail to say well done, we always complain but rarely praise.....just a thought.
Take care in the snow
