A lot of it comes down to the quality of the management at each individual store.

the Co-op near us didn't start clearing the car park until yesterday (morning) - its not a big one when the road conditions are ok - but as long as you walk/drive carefully its not too bad.

OP: did you clear your front path/driveway so that the postman could deliver your post safely?

The problem that companies face in clearing their premises is that:

If they don't do it 100% properly and someone has an accident, then they are liable.

They also would be liable for damage to cars whilst trying to clear the snow.

    What would YOU do?

I'm sure you will like Asda. It's full of whingers.

  • our asda had a snow plough as well and staff on carpark to direct parkers..

I normally shop at Warrington Tesco but in November went into store and two women staff on fish stall arguing like mad.. manager brought in to sort it..

We went back later on in month and 3 of their male staff having full blown argument in car park.. couldnt get a trolley lol...

Then to cap it all, got to check out and woman said wow you spend a lot of pet food i wouldnt spend that.. I said would you spend that on a a child and she said oh yes i would on my grandson, i said i wouldnt, i would rather spent it on my pets.. soon stopped her lol:p

Im not loyal go where the bargains are or which one im passing at that time i need food lol:T

When the great God tesco has taken over all food retailing and the markets and high streets have disappeared....the brainwashed punters will have to join the road gangs clearing snow before they are allowed to buy their processed crap food.

The bad weather's really no excuse - you still shouldn't really drink (and certainly not to excess) before midday :naughty:

Is it not just conceivable that *everyone's doing their best* and it's just that some stores may get their carparks cleared before others? Fairly sure that Tescos would prefer people to be able to park/shop there if possible...

It really shows in this weather just the complete lack of empathy people have these days...
