Okay cool. I just wondered how often you may have come into contact with a pregnant person claiming ESA.

It was the same under the old IB too.

regarding joint claims etc, the DWP can only grant the benefit claimed, if few people know about IS/ESA rules, that would xplain your experiences

Yea that makes sense! That explains exactly why i haven't came across it before! More people should be made aware. Thanks for that
