whats your cat called?

I have two - Scruffy is a fluffy balinese that looks a mess when he wakes up, and Scrappy is a tabby with huge attitude that keeps starting scraps with Scruffy!
We named neither of ours til we'd had them a couple of days, you dont "know" them enough til you've spent some time with them

My cats are called Missy & Coco. Missy was named because she is a a proper lady, she walks really daintily and is so well behaved. With Coco, I decided a name before I even saw him - although we did originally think he was a girl!

I have had the responsibility of naming three rescue cats in my time. Firstly we adopted Tom and Rene - reassigned Tom and Jerry - then I was offered Noah, renamed to ... eerrr Noah. My friend's cat is called Malcolm which is so wrong it's right!

And Floyd, who was named by CPL, but we though it was such a good name that we kept it.

My two were initially Harry and Maisie, but they were only 2 months old when we got them so we changed their names to Lion and Tiger.

I do look like an idiot standing on my doorstep shouting for them, but I love it!

Lion is the tabby, Tiger is the ginger one cuddling up to her brother.

mishka (thought it was swedish for cat, turns out its not !)
Chevez (young guns)
Nickademus (maid marion's cat from robin hood prince of thieves)
Holly (she came with that name - cant you tell )

They actually get called, hamish (hey-mish) badger (because badgers are bad) noodles (kids couldnt say nickademus) and holly-wolly

Our current cat is Thomas (picked by the kids), But have a friend whose cat is called Crippen. She has had a few mad names for her cats lol.
