If I was getting another kitten today, if it was a boy I'd call it Carlisle or Jasper.

If it was a girl, maybe Esme.

(Yes I love Twilight and want to name all my pets after the characters!)

We have always waited a few days to see what Character comes out. Also no matter what name we decide it always ends up being shortened or adapted

Original I know but my 3yr dd chose it, and it suits her. I have been asked when we're going to give her a proper name.........:rotfl:

We got both our cats from Cats Protection League and they came with their names already, however, the older one we got when she was 18months old and they'd called her 'Blade':undecided Definitely didn't suit her so we changed it to Tilly(just had to contact Indentichip so they could update their records & let CPL know too) and suited her loads better:)
Our ickle kitten was already named as Patsy and as she already responded to Patsy we decided not to change it although if we had it would've been to 'Mogwai' coz of the big 'M' shape on her forehead:rotfl:

Well our cat should have been called Rooney. We got him from an animal rescue centre. Luckily, we convinced the person processing "Rooney" that the second "o" was in fact a "d" and he was called Rodney.

Rodney has been with us for 4 years now, and is a 100% plonker

Mine is the rather unoriginal Charlie. He was a rescue cat and originally called 'Cheeko' - I wasn't keen on it and he was young so I changed to something similar.

If I'd had the choice, I'd have called him Oscar.
