My first ever cat was called Daniel - as i was little i didn't name him.

Then one called Sky.

And the lovely cat i had for all my life until last year she was called Sophie.

I had 3 kittens (siblings) from cats protection originally named Dolly day dream (?), Darius (!!??) and Dorris (!!!!???). Understandably those names had to go! They are now called Tazzy (long haired crazy tabby), Sydney (short haired tabby) and Darwin (all black) after places we loved in Australia! Cats are the best pets!! :rotfl:

I have a black cat called Nelson. He was originally a rescue cat and had his name changed to Tom by his new owners, then he was rescued again and had his name changed again to Nelson (after Mandela).

Then I rescued him again... and felt that he'd had enough changes in his short life, so I kept his name. He knows his name and comes when I call it. But then he comes when I call 'food' or 'come on mate' or 'where are you baby' as well

The strange thing is, he is such an affectionate cat, always wanting to be with me, and so chatty - how anyone could have got rid of him, not once, but three times in his short life is beyond me. But he isn't going anywhere else now

My first cats were family cats called Tigger (boy)and Tiddler(girl)
Then after moving away we ended up with two kittens from my fil's farm, Marmite, a ginger tom who thought he was a dog and played fetch! and Pickle a dainty grey and white girl. Sadly we had to give then up when we moved but they did go to a lovely home.
Now I just have the one called Pepper, originally called penelope by the shelter but I wasn't keen. Oh and we also have 2 guinea pigs, Rosie and Petal

Well the two I have at the moment are Romany and Gypsy...named so because we got them from a lady who lived in a caravan! Romany is black and fat..Gypsy is a fluffy tortie...they are both females.
In the past I have had Suki, Shadow, Little Legs, Cagney, Fancy, Marmalade, Gizmo, Omar, Charlie and Marley....

Our moggy is Molly.
Lovely, happy, sweet kitty who spends her time tormenting and playing with a bonkers 5 mth old pup. They roll around play fighting - Molls never bares her claws even when the pup is overly strong with her.....

Mine are:-

a black and white rescue cat (boy) was called sylvester by last owners. I wanted to call him Mr Mistofalees (from Cats) DD wouldn't call him that. He gets called Moofie, Mooface Moomoo or similar. don't ask me why

Silver tabby (female) is Athina but gets called theenie or miss theenie.

white and black (female) was named Shiva (goddess of destruction) but never gets called it - ever. She is quite small but boy can she eat! so she gets called Piggy or miss piggy
