    My adopted brood are called

    C4 - C for Cat
Bruiser - As he pushes past everyone else to get food
Tip Tail - He has a white tip on his tail
Mrs Tips - From the same litter as Tip Tail we think
Giza - Has an Egyptian look about her

As they were all strays when I first started feeding and looking after then 2 years ago we weren't that good with names, Mrs T is actually a boy but the name can't be changed now 'it's just not on
Sometimes I wake up grumpy, other times I let him sleep !:rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
Over the years I have had Boo, Sweeney (after the tv programme!), Oscar, Wilbur, Smudge, Sox, Jasper, Maisy, Jo-Jo (already named when we got him), Tiim Tinker, Esso (we found him abandoned at an Esso petrol station!). I now have Jet (a black oriental), Toby (a rescue already named) and Ziggy. Ziggy is a rescue but he was a stray and the rescue had called him Tye. His eyes are different colours and as myself and OH are David Bowie fans (his eyes are different colours) he is called Ziggy after Ziggy Stardust!!!!
The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

    Ours are Ty and Tabi

I do tend to give them nicknames too....so does my OH but his are awful. At the moment Ty gets called....the big green. Yes I know odd. It's because he is a tabby and my OH is convinced he has green in him

Oh we have also had Khan (aka squib), George (who was a girl but because she dribbled she was named after a person who dribbled a lot lol), Lacy (she had a sister called Cagney), Lottie (he was born on the first year of the lottery) and Dusty (because she tried to go up the chimney when we got her).

My poor little Toshi's name just got stuck to her!

We had two kittens and one had half a black mustache. As we had not named the girls yet rather than saying 'the black and white cat' or the 'white cat with ginger and black patches' we called them Tosh and Non-Tosh while we got to know them so we could name them!

Non-Tosh eventually became Chloe as my OH loves the name and she just adores him! Toshi's face is just so dominated by her half mustache that the name Toshi just stuck!

Our first darling was called Gracie, another favourite name of OH, sadly we only had her for 6 months before she was run over.

Other cats have been Charmer, a stray which constantly visited mums school and 'charmed' her into taking him home! (Better name would have been Psycho he was a crazy cat! In the end he had a fatal argument with a fox - it wasn't pretty)

Smudge (white cat with smudges of black now an old lady at 14 ish) and her brother Mischief (he was just so much fun and sadly missed)
  • My two troubles are called Mitsy and Scrabble. Both are silver tabby cats.
I really want a third called Twinkle.
I had Sherri and Jaffa while growing up,both are still going strong at my mums, although Sherri is now a grumpy old lady!

My cat is called Jess - she's black and white and named after Postman Pat's cat - my children were aged 3 and 4 when we had her and they were allowed to name her.

If I had a new one I don't know what I'd call it but I do like that name 'Fang'.

I'm in the middle of reading a Freddie Mercury biography - did you name your Delilah after Freddie's Delilah - or is that a v.happy accident?
