Ocado diverted their calls to my home!

I had a friend who's number was one digit different to the local Police station. She used to get numerous phone calls and even messages were left on her ansaphone saying such things as I'm Mrs Smith of (address), I'll be away on holiday for 2 weeks so if the Police are in my area can they keep an eye on the house.

Luckily she was honest and not a burglar otherwise she could have made a mint

we used to have a number very similar to the doctors so would have messages left from old people requesting prescriptions.. it was also the same number (apart from 1 digit) to the cambridge examining board so we used to get a lot of teachers calling.
