She will not get income based ESA as you are couple and because of your earnings.

She would only be entitled to contributions based ESA if she has paid NI conts in recent years and from what you have said it sounds like she has not.

Has she been working for the past few years and paying NI?

Ive been there with the laying in bed trying to drop off and having to begin the days meds in the early hours then trying to make them last the day and it dosnt have to be like that, Co Drydamol is an opiate but there are much better drugs for long term pain control, I use patches, injections, drugs and relaxation exersises to make the pain bearable and to give me the best quality of life that I can have.

Cant help with ESA until we know about her NI record.

She is not eligible for the CWP.

I am not sure what you expect a money advisor to tell you that you have not already been told on here?
    Gone ... or have I?

In that case you are reciveing everything you are entitled too. My husband works full-time so we are not entitled to anything income based, I receive contributions based ESA as I have worked full-time for all qualifying years.

You wont be entitled to the CWP as being on DLA does not qualify you. I am not entitled to the CWP as I am not on income based benefit and dont fit the other criteria.

I agree with Sunnyone, I have major hip/pelvis problems and had two huge surgeries in the last 2 years and am currently on NSAIDS, patches, paras and injections to get me to a level where I can at least work part time, There are much better drugs or combinations than Co Drydramol to help her have a better quality of life. PLus seeing the right consultant is so important too, some have no idea of the more complex surgeries that the big guns in London are doing.
