I think I'll be giving this promotion a miss. The advertisment says '5p BIN with immediate payment listing day' Obviously this is going to attract people into listing like this but having to pay the full listing fees now and get it back later is very devious of eBay IMO.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
I listed some items but failed to tick the immediate payment box.
I've revised them now but does anyone know if I will have to pay full insertion fee because the original listing did not comply with the T&Cs?
Seems to me that this is a deliberately complicated system that will involve lots of us losing out!0 -
This is an offer day they used to have quite regularly before paypal really got as much hold as it has now. The terms are a bit lengthy but I don't think they are confusing particularly, as for unfair that depends on whether you like paypal or not.
By co incidence this came right at a good time for me as I'm going on holiday soon and was reluctant to have too many auctions running in case I ended up with slow payers. By having BIN with immediate paypal payment I cut out that worry and can list a week or so longer than I would with a normal auction.
lin473, with regard your particular question I don't know. I would assume that since the auction did not originally comply with the ts and cs that you won't get a listing credit in August, but sometimes ebay aren't logical about these thngs. try asking on the main ebay sellers boards.

I've got that problem as well as I have sold quite a bit and people want to combine p and p.
However, be careful, it might be worth sticking to full payment. If you return part of one payment you still have two payments left and therefore need to send 2 parcels (you need COPs for both items in case of loss). Also, receiving 2 payments is expensive as you pay the standing paypal fee on both, so it hardly works out any cheaper so you will lose out giving the buyer a reduced rate.
I was wondering whether it is possible to refund both paypal payments in full, and then reinvoice for the two items clearly showing on the invoice (for RM purposes in case of loss) what they are paying for. That saves paypal fees and also means that 1 parcel can be sent.
