NHS Exemption Card....haven't received mine yet

Hi:)
My partner and i receive WTC and CTC and our income is below 15,000.
I have not received our exemption cards yet and just wondered if any of you are still waiting for yours.
I have a dentist appointment this week and haven't got a card to show them,so I'm wondering if they might make me pay for my treatment.
Can i just show the dentist my award letter for now until the cards arrive?
:)

I have medical exemption (rather than financial) and whilst I waited for my card to arrive I was told to pay and keep the receipts for reclaiming the costs afterwards... I dont know if it would be the same for financial exemption

I phoned them a couple of weeks ago to say I'd not received it and they sent it out straight away. It took a week to be delivered.

I got one even though my circumstances have changed and I'm no longer entitled to free prescriptions

I phoned up and just got told to destroy it.
Here I go again on my own....

If you ring their helpline 0845 609 9299, they will give you the new certificate numbers which you can then give to the dentist/pharmacist etc.

I rang them yesterday to ask if our cards had been sent out and was told the above and advised that that the certificates should be with us by mid-July . . . they turned up in this morning's post (letter was dated 28th May though!).

My partner and I have one child and earn £24000 a year we are also in receipt of WTC and CTC.

Would we be able to get a NHS Exemption Card and free dental treatment?

I believe you have to have earnings under £15k a year.
