Pork steak (excess fat trimmed) - cream of chicken soup - thinly siced onions and sliced mushrooms. Salt, pepper and we're good to go! :D

(should be ready in 'bout half an hour and the scent wafting through is divine!)

Just made as per packet instructions for pudding rice but heres a link to one delia does which is virtually the same ingredients. You may want to top up with more milk if you find it thickens too much.

Leftover chicken from sunday roast marinading in curry sauce. It'll go on when I get in from work, doesn't need too much cooking.

    Yesterday,
pack of reduced stewing beef, a bag of frozen gravy left over from a roast, some frozen fried softened onions, and half a dozen carrots. It was delicious - more gravy left, which I will freeze again (I know you are not supposed to freeze more than once, but its something I have done for many years)

    Hello everyone! :hello:

What a fab thread! I have been reading through it this morning as I have been considering buying a slow cooker. You guys have convinced me! I have some vouchers for L4keland and J0hn Lewis so I think I will have a look online at how much they are - they definitely seem worth the money (even though I guess I'd be getting it free!) My mouth is watering just reading about all the delicious meals you all make! :D

    Hi Jo,

i`m sure that you won`t regret it. In the winter months they are invaluable but mine gets used quite a bit in the summer months too.

I cook my beetroot from the garden in mine as all the mess is contained in one place and it is so easy to clean without ending up with a purple kitchen :D

Hope that you find one that you like.
