In my slow cooker today... pork, peppers, mushrooms and home made barbecue sauce. Started of thick, now looks err.. runny and interesting, I guess maybe a lot of liquid has come out of the meat. I hope it's edible. So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
Hope sharing saves some pain.0 -

Trying out ham in coke, in my slow cooker today, but we are actually having roast chicken for dinner:rotfl:.
Kids are doing their nut at the moment shouting what a waste of a bottle of coke etc, etc, as I absolutely refuse to buy it apart from special occasions, and then I go and chuck a whole 2 litre bottle into the slow cooker:o. Fingers crossed it works otherwise I will have two little faces like this:mad::mad:.:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j

I've just downloaded a book from Amazon - 750 receipes for a crock pot - was cheap to buy, Some folk said it was just a list of ingredients to put in a slow cooker without any instructions, I don't mind that as I'm one for bunging things in, turning it on, walking away and hopefully several hours later it will have turned into a very acceptable meal - mostly that's what happens. Plenty of chicken receipes but no lamb - maybe I've missed those, desserts, breads!! a whole host of things. Anyone else come across this book?0

Overnight last night I had the chicken carcass from yesterday's tea and some veggies, making stock.
Then today I'm doing Gammon in coke in there :j0
