Evening, sorry everyone was worrying about me. Flights and everything were fine, there was an hour delay going out and 15 mins coming back, but everything went well. I even got an upgrade to priority boarding coming back because of the stick! Venice was amazing, although very touristy, there's no way I'd want to go in the middle of summer. Had a great time, I'll def go back sometime. And I brought back enough glass stuff to open my own shop!

Sorry I've not been on since I got back, I've been mainly sleeping! On Saturday I met my dad and sister in York for a meal, then went to see a band with sister. The landlord had a collection for the band and we couldn't afford to put in, so he kept telling the band! Since they're friends of ours they were fine about it, and told him that, but he kept going on about it. They looked really embarrassed about it! Then yesterday I drove sister back to Skegness.

I might not be around the next few days as I've got an essay to do and loads of work still to do for it.

    Hello to the new faces!

a question for you accounty type of peeps - not sure if you can help though... :(

i'm working for a local council, through a temping agency. The temp agency pays me and i've noticed on my pay slips that my tax code is BR. This isn't a second income so shouldn't i be on on 647L tax code?

also, i've received a card from HMRC from customer ops, pay as you earn and self assessement - does this mean i need to fill in the form due at the end of jan?

That sounds gorgeous Pooky! Near the end of cooking you could add some chunky fish or prawns!
    ...Linda xx

I'd love to but DH is highly allergic to fish and seafood so it's not worth the hassle.

DD's scoffed down 2 helpings each - was lovely...there's about 3/4 of a pint left so I shall add some more water and blitz it down into soup for lunch tomorrow. :D

BR is emergency tax. I'm still on that three months on due to old job not sending my P45. I think when you're temping, you fill in that form and then get a cheque.

Took 65 mins to do a 10 min journey this morning and my car was struggling (:() so went to a funeral with OH. Whole thing has worn him out, he's dead asleep on the sofa.
