I have been for a run.....

Albeit on a treadmill...a sloooow 5k but 5k nonetheless and no stopping....

Getting a bath now and then putting me pj's on.

Feel so much better for having done that run....

Sammy, my iPod defaulted to that setting after the last software update too :rotfl: really confused me for a while.

I find treadmill running much slower. Outside, 5k takes just over half an hour. On a treadmill it's more like 40 minutes. I can only think it's because you are propelling yourself upwards rather than forwards, and automatically shortening your stride because there's a big blimmin' machine right in front of you.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

is that what caused it.....it really confused me too:o

took me 37 mins to do 5k....which is worse than my first ever 5k but then I had DD1 forcing me round last time and that was outside.....it just seems much more hard work on a treadmill but at least I did it without stopping or walking....

Just seriously need to keep it up. It is a great mood enhancer and I kind of needed to flog meself......

I think on a treadmill that boredom sets in so you're more aware of the time, when you're out and about you're distracted so the time doesn't drag the same
    That's my experience anyway!
