  • Well done everyone! And thanks for the encouragement, it was well needed! Not posted (or been on the puter!) much at all this week....with it being my first week it's been a bit of a major job, but hopefully it'll get easier as the weeks go on, and things start needing just a swish and swipe, rather than a deep down clean! Also hoping that my housemates get more involved, as at the mo it's feeling like i'm the only one charging around, and i hate feeling like i have to tell one in particular what to do all the time :( But at least he's doing something, which is better than nowt! So here's to it getting easier, and getting to know you all a bit better!

    Good morning all.

Have been up since about 5 with Little one. Hes not poorly or anything, he just couldnt sleep. The rain is hammering off of our windows and has been since last night, but the good news is, its washed all the snow away!!!! Yay! We tried getting back to sleep till about 6 and it was pointless, so gave in and got up!

I think i will put my bedding in the wash and make a cup of tea :D

    Morning lovelies!

Haven't done much in the way of flying for the last few days as I've been a bit off colour and the flying at work has just took it out of me, so just flopped when I got in, teenie's been holding the fort tho and done the dailies/cooking and S&Sing :T Feel better this morning so want to get stuck in but I'm at work 2 x 2hr jobs and need to pop to Home Bargains after that cos we've run out of loo roll.

Sorry I missed birthdays, hope you all had lovely days, Holly, I got some funny looks when I told folks that OH bought me a shower for xmas lol I love practical pressies too, yay for your freezer:T
  • Good morning everyone  DH has taken the children to swim club, with a big bag for the charity shop and a return to Argos (both jobs on m,y list :j:j:j ). I'm going to iron, then when he's home he'll help me check the smoke alarms :j

Pouring with rain here, so DH will be mending our rocking chair (Edwardian; engagement present from his parents, so lots of sentimental value). DD is cooking for friends this evening (pepper pasta, and Squidgy Chocolate log, which is advertised as having no flour, so must be practically calorie free :p:D ). I'm doing more work sorting our photos, labelling and putting into albums :T

See you all later, Penny. x

I ended up asleep for most of the evening, so crisis cleaning will commence straight after breakfast.

I won't be able to make the Easter meet in Chichester, but would any flyladies be interested in getting together more locally (e.g. Yorkshire, Derbyshire,Humberside) in the Easter holidays? We could go for the same date to start with, to see if it suits everyone. Maybe you can pm me to avoid clogging up the thread (and so I don't miss any posts in case I can't read them all). Let me know which dates you can do, and whether you've got a suggestion for a meeting place. I will probably have to bring DS2, who is 5.
