Well slap me down with a copy of Vogue i wore slogan tshirts they are a bit of fun. I had mind the bump and miracle in the making. Even if she wont wear them out she could wear them as PJ tops and im sure she would appreciate the thought that went into the gift.

Not sure i would wear it but this one made me laugh “I doubt this is the threesome my husband had in mind”

Was that a Betty Boop top? I bought one from New Look and didn't even notice what it said, I just liked the Betty boop on the front!

It's still in my wardrobe actually, I must sort my clothes out, the baby is 8 months old lol!

  • Hi

Thanks guys. Yeah she would like a slogan top or wouldn't ask and its only a bit of fun and great for keepsake and memory box. Who would keep just a boring maternity top in the twins memory box. She has loads of sophistacated elegant stuff and I know she is dead proud to be pregnant with twins and wants to tell the world she is pregnant and with twins!!

Can't believe the people who take or took their pregnancy so seriousley that they found funny slogan t shirts tacky LOL.

Thanks for all help and yeah I do know her well enough thanks!!

    xx

  • Hi, I had twins and found very few maternity tops fitted! Whatever you buy make them long tops, so there is plenty of stretch to come down over the bump, I have photos of me in my later days where all my maternity clothes have a 10" gap between the top and bottom as my bump was so huge!! I really struggle to find anything to fit at the end (other than my dh's clothes, but it was rather upsetting when things were making me feel even more huge) I'm sure she'll love you for putting a lot of thought into the stuff!

its not a question of taking yourself too seriously, but its quite clear that one persons "funny" is another persons cringe,

Personally I don't find slogan T-shirts tacky but I do find them attention seeking. When I was pregnant I considered it a private matter and I didn't feel the need to tell the world. I don't suppose other people were that interested either.

Im just annoyed at the people who responded saying tacky ect when I posted about slogan t shirts and it was obvious I wanted one and I and my friend did not find it tacky. Just people reading and sticking their oar in but luckily got some very grateful advice

I dont think anyone was trying to be derogatory or insulting just giving their personal opinions. If you and your friend are happy I wouldnt worry about it :-)
