Maternity tops

Hi all,

My friend is pregnant with twins and I am getting her a maternity top for her birthday.

In the spirit of moneysaving and all. I have some black maternity tops from H and M and am planning to go to one of them shops to get some slogans on.

Anyone got some good ideas?

I have seen ones with:

Mind the bump
Babylove
Definetly baby

but wanted one for twins?
Any you clever lot got some better ideas???

Mrs JG

I like mind the bump but just googled and found these:

    2 babies in 1 belly
    dressing for 3
    twincredible
    twins on board

TWINS across the top, with an arrow pointing downwards.

I'm not being funny but are you sure she will she wear tops with a slogan on? I'd cringe if someone bought me a top with something cheesy written on it and I wouldn't wear it :o
Here I go again on my own....

Yeah I didnt like the tops with slogans on either for my 3 pregnancies. Unless you know she will wear something like that I would go for a plain top. :-)
  • I'm pregnant and wouldn't wear a solgan top at all. Just because we're pregnant doesn't mean we can't look stylish! Buy her a nice top without the slogans. xx
  • I completely agree with the last 4 posters. Do you know her well enough to be confident that she would wear it, therwise your thoughtful gift could end up shoved at the back of the wardrobe, never to see the light of day :o
  • i wouldnt wear a slogan top either, however i have seen some very clever, very subtle tops...
for instance it might just have the due date on it, in normal numbers or roman numerals - ETA 10/05/10 r something like that...

some ideas here if your determined http://www.nappyhead.co.uk/acatalog/Funky_Slogan_Maternity_T-shirts.html
having looked at these i would have worn the one that says DONT TOUCH THE BUMP!
but anything with a cutesy message on it would have been ripped up and used to clean the bathroom! :)

I would have sworn that my daughter would never wear a slogan T shirt, but she was entertained by one she saw at an ante-natal appointment

You can't scare me - I'm having twins

Unless she actually already wears slogan tops or has said she would I would err on the side of caution and not do it. Just but a nice maternity top.

    Personally, I wouldnt wear one.
