The owner lost his doorman/bouncer licence. Hence the site is closed.

Revoked and Suspended Licences Transparent.gif Revocation
A licence will be revoked if:
    • The licence holder is not the person to whom the named licence should have been issued.
    • The licence holder does not have the training qualifications that were claimed on application.
    • The licence holder receives a conviction, caution or warning for a relevant offence.
    • The licence holder loses, or did not have when they applied, the right to remain or work in the UK.
A licence may also be revoked if:
    • The licence holder breaks the conditions on which their licence was issued.
    • We receive non-conviction information suggesting that there is a case for having the licence withdrawn.
    • The licence holder becomes subject to detention because of mental disorder.
    Interesting!

This relates to the original registered office of Vibe Leisure Ltd and was also the declared addresses for the original directors. The RO was changed in May 2009 to the well-known one in Bridgend.

As previously posted during Autumn 2009 the website was linked to what appeared to be a nightclub in Blackpool (have the name but will not post it here) although no other searches threw up the location. The website was then advertising for bar staff etc - as well as door staff. It started to "morph" at the same time as we saw the rapid changes on pcn-uk.co.uk.

As a slightly oblique comment, in the past it has been found that PPC's are often linked to others that share addresses and/or directors. Perhaps this could be a fruitful route of enquiry? (hint, hint)
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

This 'amazing' nightclub still shows up on Google in a 'vibe leisure' search. It's on a link to a non existant facebook page

I was driving through Blackpool the other day and I say a couple of crisps walking along the main road, it was cold and snowing so I pulled over and offered them a lift. They said "No thanks, we're Walkers"

I had a "feeling" you were going to say that. Got to look at the cached items though.

I think there is most definitely some confusion here regards company names. The site linked to from here is in Scotland and a totally different business as eluded to by the members of this thread. I know the business owner and he is not in the business mentioned here.

Firstly, let me say that I am entirely sympathetic to the position the current proprietor finds themselves in having acquired what is best described as a "pre-owned" domain name. However, it is this purchasing of the used domain that is at the root of the problem and has effectively created the confusion. All rather unfortunate as the the current owner clearly acquired the domain name unaware of its background.

The story behind Vibe Leisure Ltd, latterly known as Sure-Sec Ltd both of which were allied to PCN-UK Ltd; UK Facilities Services Ltd, VL-Guarding et al deserves to remain in the public domain.

The confusion, if indeed that is what it is, probably relates rather more to the other searches thrown up when Googling "Vibe Leisure" (which one could understand the proprietor of the existing business would prefer did not appear) rather than to the old, though nonetheless valid, links in old threads here.

Those of us with an established interest in the old case are well aware that there is no connection to the Lanarkshire business.
