Ex wife does not let me see children

Dear all, hope someone can help,
Some one I know is going through a divorce, court has granted him access to children 12. 7. and 5, every other weekend. His ex does not obey the court ruling and each time he has gone to pick up the children, she creates a scene and calls the police. Police say they have no authority to enforce the court ruling, what can he do??

Definitely agree with the above post. He also needs to contact his solicitor to inform them that ex is not complying with the court order0

Yes, his ex brother seems to be driving her, they cleared the residence of all valuables and caused extensive damage to the deco. This person believes that his wife brother caused all this damage out of spite.
The twist in the matter is that this person sister was married to his ex brother, who decided she could no longer live with him, think it is cultural issue as she was born and brought up here.
So it is complicated, it appears that people who are born and brought up here are naive compare to those coming from abroad who know how to manipulate the system perhaps.

Neither Police nor his solicitor has been able to help enforce the court order.

I agree with this. If the order is not going to be enforced with evidence of her clearly flouting it, then it is not worth the paper it is written on. If he gets a decent solictor, hopefully they can make some headway
Is he continuing to make maintenance payments as well, if not he needs to becasue the court will take a dim view of this? 0 -

I think sebastianj is trying to say that his friend was married to Woman X and his friend's sister was married to Woman X's brother. To clarify, one set of siblings married another set of siblings.snapping_crocodile wrote: »I don't understand what you are trying to say here
Both marriages have now broken down which might explain why the (soon-to-be-ex) brother-in-law is helping his sister (Woman X) cause trouble for sebastian's friend. But suggesting that these marriages have gone wrong because the second set of siblings comes from abroad is uncalled for.

I'm confused - heading says "does not let me see the children" but in the text he is talking about a friendThrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0
