Totally agree with you, but lets not forget this is Bing0's thread and challenge. Therefore I think it should be run the way Bing0 wishes. I personally won't argue about that - but I would be up for side stepping elsewhere to allow Bing0's ideas to be allowed to develop without our trash talk.

How about we create a 'Make £10k by end of Dec even though we dont have a clue how yet, and it will be inspite of all life's challenges ?' Not that catchy I grant you.

Think Bing0's opinions should be respected even though we may disagree.

Considering Bing0, the original creator of this thread, has decided to leave due to the chat, perhaps it is worth considering a split?

I appreciate people like to chat and gain motivation from this, but I think this thread originally was created for idea sharing, not whats for dinner, personal problems and the weather!

Some people don't have the time in their day to be searching through the chat for the decent ideas, and I would be much more inclined to post my own ideas if I knew they would actually get seen amongst everything else!

I agree with you, this is Bingo's thread and his wishes should be respected. For those that want to chat, me included as I have met some amazing peeps on here (thank you) there is always msn, FB, perhaps another thread etc. There is no reason the best of both worlds can not be achieved here.

almost out of battery life now so guess that means I am going to stop chatting now lol.....

Apparently we don't need to. That bing0, what a go-getter. So who's in charge of the thread now? And on the subject of ideas, can't we just do as we have been doing and have them all in the first post, updated when needed, and cut off each thread when it gets too long?

Can kinda see both sides, but I'm tending towards if you post something on an open forum you have to be prepared to go where the people contributing on it take it. In just about every long running thread there will be deviations, hesitations and (can't remember what the third thing is) and if it stays on track it is pretty much a miracle. This thread takes circuitous routes, via slippers and Arsenal footballers, but comes back on track still, which is pretty much evidence to me that people are serious, but it's not all they are thinking about, which is healthy IMO.

I guess that means I'm staying on the chatty thread then.

I don't see how Bing0 could expect to set up a thread on a chat forum and it not contain chat (missing confused smiley;BRING IT BACK!!)
