can someone tell me what they are both called, sorry if Im being thick! I will look at both and decide where I want to be, seems all a bit silly to me and such a shame as this thread was great (I thought) if a bit manic to keep up with and the chat and ideas mixed together were good, in my humble opinion. Maybe the chitchat gone a bit far but still we were all united in the same goal so maybe not all bad, and the popularity of the thread was testament to the good idea of the creator....I'd be proud if my thread was getting on for a few hundred pages! But still each to their own, good luck in the challenge whichever camp you now fall into.

They're both still called £100 to £10,000 - just look on the 'Up your income' forum (where this one is). At the moment they are all on the first page...

I just hijacked ttck4eva's page, she put the young un back down & left her pc unguarded!

Sorry, yes, this is the third one that I was talking about Lol - I am confused too and I was here watching while it all happened :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

BUT - think that separating threads was a good idea as there were a few people that mentioned that they had trouble keeping up etc, so at least the people with less time get the ideas without the chat and the rest of us get the chat and the ideas

thanks, ok so this is the original and the new one is the one for more chat based.....chat? I'd like to try and follow both I think! Think that the thread got off to am amazing start but was always gonna involve alot of chat esp when things slowed up for people and we were all kicking around for ideas and such, not to say it was a bad thing, to me it suggests how friendly the thread was, and I think the chat would have come and gone, same as the ideas, peaks and troughs kind of thing but at least with 2 threads now people can take their pick, be interesting to see if the 'serious' threaders or the 'chit chat threaders' make most money...wouldnt want to turn it into a competition, but it would be interested as who knows what the best way is?

It would be interesting, wouldn't it? I think they will both work as different things work for different people.......I'll be following both too, although I haven't posted on bing0s yet as no new ideas and nothing to update

I agree that there is too much chat - there should be an ideas thread and a chat thread. And for those who say that lots of ideas come from the chat, then it will just have to be that those who choose not to read the chat end up missing out on the ideas!

ok then my question to you is - since the beginning of the thread what ideas have you personally contributed to the thread? what worked for you? What didnt?

I'm not slating you - but all I can say to you and all the people who keep asking others to stop the chat is this: I'd like to know exactly how you want this thread to be and so the best way would be for you to put in some posts into the thread contributing and moving it forward. Input some ideas perhaps..? Input some thoughts as to what is profitable and what isn't ( not necessarily on ebay) give us a breakdown of what you have achieved so far... etc

there's no point telling others to shut up about chatting if the ones asking for it aren't actually adding to the thread in any positive manner.

Again just to clarify, I'm not slating you! this is just my opinion as to how to get a compromise.

I completely 100% disagree with you - Sorry! Just because he is the OP that doesn't give him the right to dictate how 300 odd people should write on an open forum and it most certainly does Not give him any right to classify what people write as "social dribble"

how many times has bingo posted one line messages saying "hello i'm busy, take care everyone" Now that is utter dribble in my eyes - but I have never deliberately sat there and penned a response expressing this as personally I think a post like that is just plain rude.

This forum is overrun with Original posters starting challenges then running away from thread management halfway through - it isn't the first time.

If people want to leave the thread then that is their choice . It was expected anyway that the inputters (such a word?) would decrease and the lurkers would increase as the year went by. For crying out loud its not even February yet and people are already crying and moaning. Lets not lose the gist, inspiration, motivation or camaradrie of this thread.

you people want to stop me chatting - just try it You will find that i can talk (type) for England.

as far as I see it most of the people contributing to this thread wanted it to stay the same but felt uncomfortable doing that on Bingo's thread as he started it and was not happy with it.
So basically the 10k with drivel/dribble thread is this thread as it has evolved to be but in a new home.
The 10k with no dribble thread is Bingo's new version hopefully in the style he prefers and maybe some of those who weren't active here will be more active on there.
