youve been lucky
my parents are both wholly welsh, however I was born in winchester, and lived there for the first 3 years of my life. My parents then moved back to wales and all through my childhood i was spat at in the street, dragged around by my hair, had footballs/rugby balls kicked in my face intentionally, we had home made bombs thrown at our dogs, all kinds, just because I wasnt from the area.
Not saying it slike that everywhere in wales, but there are a few places that are a bit like the league of gentlemen 'this is a local shop for local people' lol. Needless to say unemployment was high there, and the school was poor. No public transport to speak of and a ile to the nearest shop I believe all contributed to the small mindedness of that place.
Where I live now Ive had no issues with however, but Im far from the village I grew up in.
You can generally pick up the vibe of these places when you visit them, if everyone is coming out of their houses giving you threatening looks as you walk by then you know its probably not the place for you! Haha10k in 2010 - £350.77 :beer:0 -
Well what I feared woukld happen has done. My Spanish lego buyer who I had to file a non paying dispute with did eventually pay and has now left me negative feedback. Where is the protection for the seller?
copperjar - contact ebay live help, explaint he situation - they might even remove the neg....Worth asking!
Don't let it get to you, there are stupid people everywhere, we can't always avoid them!!Here is how to clean the house so that we all have more time to make money!!
1. Open a new file in your PC
2. Name it "Housework."
3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN.
4 Empty the RECYCLE BIN.
5. Your PC will ask you, "Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently?"
6. Calmly answer, "Yes," and press mouse button firmly ...
7.. Feel better?
Works for me! :rotfl:

I have decided to have a lazy morning today. Just trying to finish off the last bits of my plan. But, I think I have earned a morning off! Just having a general read and then I will get my to do list done. Just waiting for some envelopes to arrive so that I can post my free magazines:).
Other than that just the morning sulk - I had a really good sleep, and I feel robbed of my lie in. Although, I do have some time off booked with work for half term week! way-hey so I have about 2 weeks until my lie in fest begins on Feb 15th.
Idea of the day 1: If you are looking for business ideas it is worth reading the Evening Standard on a Monday they have a trends section so it tells you what is popular in terms of marketing and events. And they always have at least one talk with an entrepreneur it was the man who started Gu puddings yesterday. e version is available here
Idea of the day 2: Found this website https://www.bakeclub.co.uk they have bake offs and such and it could be good marketing for the bakers among us. Also, seen another recent idea of cake clubs where people sign up for a year's subscription and you create different cakes for them each month. A good way of guaranteeing money possibly :think:10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

grrrr irritated at myself! I'll come up with what i think is a great idea, write it down, put a whole detailed, intricate plan around it about how to implement it, do step one and then stop! And then come on here, read all the ideas, refresh the page 1000 times and then go to work (mornings) or bed (evenings). Then go through the whole process again...come up with another idea...It's like i create a huge wall after step one, when the real work should start. Often this isn't any more difficult than the planning stage but i'm somehow telling myself to stop! This is why my OH and my Mum doubt me as this has happened millions of times. I think i've become so used to planning that i don't take it any further. Part of what i do for work is plan interventions for others to follow up and deliver. I also do this around the house - design new rooms and then OH does all the work! Maybe that's reinforcing the rut i'm getting in! I go full steam ahead and then stop. Same with Doo you - i wrote loads of reviews, got to the point where i was about to make money, and then stopped!! Grrrrr. Sorry to harp on! Just £10,852.28p to go...
Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";

no.... you SAY you wash them but you send them stinky! Read the thread I posted a few pages ago, there are quite a few people that have done this. Some even send the items sealed in a plastic bag to keep the 'scent' 'fresh'!!!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -

Sadly I've wasted £10 on Ladbrokes, I didn't realise you had to buy £5 worth of bingo tickets so I deposited another fiver and was then completely confused by it, and the bonus still hasn't gone into my account! I will send them a very friendly email, arsiness breeds arsiness as my grandma used to say...she never said that, I made it up, it's FOUR IN THE MORNING AAARGGGHHH! Lol.
I've got a day of running around after the kids and being shattered and I'm flagging a bit with this challenge, to be honest...:(
Takes up to 48 hours for ladbrokes bonus to hit account0 -
I've sold something else, I've sold something else, ee eye diddly eye I've sold something else !
And now for something completely different...
I am a life coach - now ignore the procrastination I publically delcare. I am much better at motivating others than myself. Bit like a builder, or cleaner, or dog walker - most people give 100% for others but not for themselves !
If anyone needs some motivational time, one on one, via email, msn, facebook chat etc.. then PM me. Free sessions for MSErs on this challenge, as long as I can use your monumental success stories in my portfolio ! I only do coaching part time so bear with me if you need it.
Good luck everyone - think things are starting to pick up with regards sales - this time next month we'll all be moaning that the post office workers hide when we walk through the door cos they know we have loads of parcels.VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID
