  • i sold some just before christmas, but i was selling them for 10p each:rotfl: mainly childrens ones sold, maybe parents buying htem to keep the kiddywinkles quiet before christmas..

Haha, yeah that's about how much I expected them to go for. Still, every little bit helps, especially if you can shift quite a few :)

    Hello everyone again,
I've added my £482.36 from Ebay sales that I listed on my £10 a day in January challenge and added this towards my £100/£10000 challenge, is this okay or am I cheating.

Anybody had much success with Green Metropolis? I have listed about 10 books on there today. Not expecting to do that well mind

    Hi Indie,

I listed a load of books on there yesterday...but knowing that I probably won't sell them all for a a good few months. Still, I think its better to get in and around £3.00 per book and wait a while rather than trying to compete on amazon and get 1p for it, or take to a car boots for a few more pence! I've got them neatly packed into a box so not taking up too much room and most of mine are brand new or in really good condition - so no rush for me.

Its the first time i've used it so would be nice to get some sales. Let us know how you get on. I'll defintely be sharing on here when I sell my first one! Good luck.

Do people still buy vhs videos at car boots? :)

Saw a lot of 100 going for 99p earlier today near me ... not sure if they are hooky though or just no demand ... at 10p each there would be some margin there ... but that lot would likely fill the boot (and a proportion of the rest of the car) which would kind of defeat the point somewhat ;) ... have you managed to sort out your load carrying rickshaw yet? :)

Haha!! :D No, I'm taking a step back and seeing if I can come up with a sound plan in time for the new freshers in Sept (that's what you were referring to right?) That gives me a long time to perfect my cunning plan :D

Am still waiting for stock to arrive but in the meantime am trying to work out the best plan of action for eBay . As most of it be multiple items would listing it on buy it now be better? Am thinking of doing best offer but can't see if this costs more for listing fees-anyone know? Will best offer attract buyers or put them off?
Got a bargain this morning- 2 snowboarding designer make jackets , one girls 13-14yrs and one boys 16 yrs in ex cond for £8.98 Inc postage. £1.99 each and combined postage coz from same seller :-) This was courtesy of a spelling mistake and fatfingers :-)
  • Hmm. Have £26.69 still to invest in stock to sell back on. But WHAT on. Oh the elusive question
