Help - on SIM only deal but need new mobile

Hi - I wonder if anyone can help with some advice please? I'm a Virgin home customer and as part of that deal get a SIM only deal of 300min/300 txts per month for £10. This is ideal for what I need. Sometimes, operators will let you transfer airtime from one account or another.

For example, my sister went into the Virgin Media store, where she got a PAYG phone AND a sim only contract. However, when she bought the phone, she had to buy PAYG airtime with it.

She was then able to transfer the compulsory airtime as credit towards her rolling sim only contract.
