Thanks
^^ Thanks!
Still unfair...
LMAO you still don't get it do you, your award for compensation will be what the judge believes it should be, the court costs are irrelevant.
You seem to want to have your cake and eat it, the solicitors still want paying, atleast they aren't charging you which would come out of your compensation.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
Cosmetic surgery is usually available on the NHS for facial disfigurements. Have you looked into this?
I havent, did send photos to solicitor though and after grilling had (solicitor type language answer- well... well.. if... but... hardly going to be reasonable to expect talking from experience, plus load of additional administrative work as to get it evaluated/assessed) answer like.
And @ the end of a day I feel a bit to my ex-employer... especially if he hadn't insurance (unlikely, but potential)
However, I got the picture now as how system works- got will to find a solicitor to see on what figures alternative would be able to come up with...
Many thanks everyone!0 -
Hello everyone!,
In September I have had Injury @ work (glass shattered on my face, got fairly nasty cut on the nose), got sacked in December(unrelated incident + didn't work for 12 mont for them) and decided to do something about it (IE to get plastic surgery to get nose fixed or to get some compensation)
Contacted National Accident Helpline and after lenghty phone call got clarified about such claim being possible, however compensation is likely to be £1500-£2500 and hardly is going to be Operation on the nose covering or recommended on Medical grounds.
Got the letter from solicitor to sign, in order to proceed with case, where no win - no fee, but expectant charges to my ex-employer/his insurer likely to be £5000-£10 000...
Speechless! just have no clue weather I should look for better value lawyer or what to do about the case?
Thanks in advance for any advice regarding matter!0 -
Victims normally depend on the personal injury lawyer to recover financial damages that are required to cover their medical treatments and compensate for their pain and suffering. Make sure you choose the right personal injury lawyer to represent you, as without a qualified or experienced personal injury lawyer, your chances of getting fair compensation may plummet. Check online for good personal injury lawyers.
Brilliant...10 month old threadThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
