just recieved my grays (and another pair of shoes) theyre not too bad, but dont look like they will last long at all! note the soles are glued not stiched, and there is no support at all on them! so I would imagine that after they have een work a few times the 'walls' will give and allow the wearer to walk on the sides (perhaps fall over)....could be wrong though  also the sizes seem on the big side:confused:...not so bad with the boots as you can more or less put up with it, but the shoes seem very big and wide.....need to return these but will wait til the rest of my order arrives to see what else needs to be returned

Glad I bought them, although I dont think I needed them in both colours having had a real look at them :rotfl:

Yup - I got my gray ones today as well and to be honest, I will only be wearing them as slippers in the house.

I was a tad surprised to find that the knitted upper is exactly just that - there's no structural support for the foot at all - there is no way I'd wear these out on the street, let alone in the snow!

They're also very big - I'm a size 7 - ordered a size 7 and they hang off my feet when I'm walking.

Still, a tenner for a pair of slippers is ok. I would view anyone paying £40 for these as completely barking! :p

I have just telephoned my local store (Northampton) to check availability. The lady advised me that they have had a delivery this morning so should be plenty in stock when my friend and I go shopping tomorrow, but they are still full price - £ 9.99?
I don't mind paying the full price - as it means I can try them on before I buy, but thought it worth noting that it possibly isn't every store

Ventured into town yesterday and Shoe Zones nearest rival of these style boots is actually £14.99.

My thoughts exactly! unfortunately I have also ordered the black boots too.....they should arrive today :rotfl:
Thinking I may wear them for (very) casual summer days, as I cant have 2 pairs as slippers!!!!!

Need to send back the other 3 pairs of shoes back though as theyre just huge!

Had mine delivvered today and they're huge going to have to return them as they are way too big for me :(. Would recommend ordering a size smaller than needed.

I'd also recommend a size smaller, they're far too big (as is sometimes the way with boots). I don't think they're greast quality, either. I'm not sure I'd wear them outside - it doesn't feel like they'd stay on, or that they could negotiate anything other than an absolutely flat pavement!

I see what you meant about them not bending. It has no flexability in the sole at all , horrible horrible sole but boots look fine apart from that.
  • have just received a delivery of Office boots, clearly worn scuffing on sole and suede heel disappointing but going straight back tomorrow, have bought from them before & not great unless really cheap in my experience

Me too. Got them on now. Soles are dead rigid and no foot/ankle support whatsoever. But for a tenner I'll keep them - probably as slippers, as we have stone floors.

I got two other pairs, both a 5. One pair are fine, almost tight (they are leather so will give), but the other pair are massive. You just can't tell.

However, there are loads of bargains on Office - I've got stuff in my basket now, going to stock up for summer. I hate normal shopping so am prepared to take the risk. :rotfl:

Damn wish I had got a size smaller! Arrived but slip off slightly, bought 6's think I need 5's! They have 5's now in Black (they have most sizes in stock again for Black) but I have Grey... btw they are alot darker colour Grey than they appear in the picture too!
