I have some Office boots and I have found them true to size - their UK 5 is certainly a standard size 5 - I'm not sure footwear sizing differs as much as clothing?

If I was between sizes I think I would go for the next size up (you can always put thick socks on)

No, it doesn't always differ as much as clothing, certainly! I've just found that boots in particular are sometimes a bit on the smaller or larger size. I'll go for a 6. :)

    Cheers :)

  • Just so you know, Shoe Zone sell the exact same style as this at £5.00 in their sale at the moment, I think they actually look better quality tbh. If you have one nearby it would be worth a look if you didn't want to spend out Deckers version. Also they have grey, cream, black, fig and moss. I don't think they call them the same colours though. :o

Have to say I think the foam type soles on these aren't very good in this weather. I have some similar boots and there's just no weight to them - I slipped on the pavement as there was just no grip. My walking boots are much better.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it tbh. ;) I for one have found it very useful and, judging from the number of views and thanks, so have many others. I didn't read 'your' thread so wouldn't have spotted it unless BBear57 had posted it as a thread of its own.

I agree with this- plus if you walk through snow they will get very wet. I know they're cheap- but even expensive ones aren't suited to this.
