Just looked at a couple of these episodes. Its good to see these property shows coming back on the screen again - bound to help keeping rising house prices going
  • Hahaha they want to live in Battersea or Clapham and he takes them to Peckham.:T She thinks £215,000 + £60,000 renovations is "cheap" for a two bed flat!!

I used to live next to a big forces estate. When the base closed the homes (about 500) were empty for 2 years before being sold!

I've mentioned the large amount of empty new builds around here before, and how a lot of them are being sold to HAs. Well, they must have bought up a whole load more of them recently because this week my friends - married, both working, no kids- were offerred a flat on a private development after being on the waiting list 5 years....

A bit of advice for you nollag/hamish. If you're going to try to get a rise out of people and provoke a impassioned response you're going to have to be a bit more subtle than this. Otherwise they just won't bite. Better luck next time fella. :rotfl:

It was a bit lame though nollag. Everyone know property shows are for brain dead people with nothing better to do. The facts are that when property shows were at their peak, prices were crashing. It's to do with commisioning lag apparently. If they are coming back, then we are on the way down again. Sure thing, you read it here first.

No bear has bitten yet nollag. Did you really think one would with such obvious bait? Bears are very clever creatures, dontcha know? LOL

You're going have to tone it down a bit next time if you're going to stand a chance of getting the desired response. Good luck.

Actually nollag, I haven't even read the thread. Just bored, and wondered what boomerangs had typed. I'm only joining in because I am between exciting things to do on a cold Saturday night.
